Protest for declaring "Shrisammed Shikhar ji" as a tourist spot

The Central and the Jharkhand State Government has Hurt by declaring "Shrisammed Shikhar ji" a tourist spot, the holy place of salvation of 20 of the 24 Tirthankaras of Jainism. Against this decision of Jharkhand Government, the entire Puducherry Jain community rejected this decision and expressed their protest today 06.01.23 by holding a silent procession on the main streets of Puducherry.

சமண சமயத்தின் 24 தீர்த்தங்கரர்களில் 20 தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் புனித முக்தி ஸ்தலம், """ஸ்ரீ சம்மேத்-ஷிகர்ஜி"""யை ஒரு சுற்றுலாப் ஸ்தலம் அறிவித்ததன் மூலம் ஜைனர்களின் இதயங்களையும் அவர்களது நம்பிக்கைகளையும் புண்படுத்தியுள்ளது. ஜார்க்கண்ட் அரசின் இந்த முடிவை எதிர்த்து, ஒட்டுமொத்த புதுச்சேரி ஜெயின் சமுதாயமும் இந்த முடிவை மறுத்து, புதுச்சேரி முக்கிய வீதிகளில் மௌன ஊர்வலம் நடத்தி அவர்களது எதிர்ப்பை அன்று 06.01.23 வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.
