On 13.03.21 Morning 10 am Flag off from Pondicherry Beach
The event is the first of its kind in the Bay of Bengal and is held to promote the ecofriendly sport of sailing which uses wind energy only for propulsion.
The J80 sail boats will be racing between Chennai Port to Puducherry Port and back. Each leg is about 160 kilometers and with the present weather and winds it will take about 25 hours for each leg.
