Melmalayanur Sri Angala Parameswari Temple is located near Gingee, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, 21 km from chetput (Tiruvannamalai District). It is famous for the Goddess Angalamman.
Lakhs of devotees visit here every new moon and full moon days since it is supposed to be auspicious during these days. But it lacks Medical facilities and hotel facilities. Melmalayanur is assembly constituency which will send representative to the members to the state assembly.
